El Farolito: un pedacito de Argentina
★ 4.0
Review from a diner at El Farolito
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Headline: Peaceful lunch with perfectly cooked Argentine beef ribs
I had lunch at El Farolito yesterday and it was a really pleasant experience. The place was calm and not too crowded, which made for a relaxing meal. I ordered the beef ribs — the Argentine asado cut — with a salad. The meat was cooked exactly to my liking, perfectly tender and well-seasoned. The salad was fresh but simple. I also had a glass of Trumpeter Malbec, which paired wonderfully with the beef.
The only downside was the price — it could be more affordable — but I recognize that quality beef is expensive by nature. Overall, I'd recommend it 100%, especially to anyone who loves Argentine-style asado.
Pros:
- Calm, uncrowded atmosphere — peaceful and relaxing
- Beef ribs (asado argentino cut) cooked to perfection, exactly to my liking
- Fresh salad, simple but fresh
- Trumpeter Malbec paired beautifully with the meat
- Strongly recommended for Argentine asado lovers
Cons:
- Price could be more affordable, though quality beef is inherently expensive
- Salad was simple — nothing special
Recommended for:
- Argentine asado enthusiasts
- Anyone looking for a calm, relaxed lunch atmosphere
- Beef lovers who appreciate perfectly cooked meat
- Those who enjoy pairing red wine (Malbec) with their meal
