Review from a diner at El Farolito

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Headline: Peaceful lunch with perfectly cooked Argentine beef ribs

I had lunch at El Farolito yesterday and it was a really pleasant experience. The place was calm and not too crowded, which made for a relaxing meal. I ordered the beef ribs — the Argentine asado cut — with a salad. The meat was cooked exactly to my liking, perfectly tender and well-seasoned. The salad was fresh but simple. I also had a glass of Trumpeter Malbec, which paired wonderfully with the beef.

The only downside was the price — it could be more affordable — but I recognize that quality beef is expensive by nature. Overall, I'd recommend it 100%, especially to anyone who loves Argentine-style asado.

Pros:

  • Calm, uncrowded atmosphere — peaceful and relaxing
  • Beef ribs (asado argentino cut) cooked to perfection, exactly to my liking
  • Fresh salad, simple but fresh
  • Trumpeter Malbec paired beautifully with the meat
  • Strongly recommended for Argentine asado lovers

Cons:

  • Price could be more affordable, though quality beef is inherently expensive
  • Salad was simple — nothing special

Recommended for:

  • Argentine asado enthusiasts
  • Anyone looking for a calm, relaxed lunch atmosphere
  • Beef lovers who appreciate perfectly cooked meat
  • Those who enjoy pairing red wine (Malbec) with their meal
